SYNOPSIS

This documentary introduces Arif Ansari, founder and president of The Calgary Cassette Preservation Society—a non-profit organization dedicated to the digitization and preservation of recording artifacts by local Calgary artists. He takes us through his extensive collection of physical media, shows us his process of digitizing and
archiving music, and narrates the ups and downs he faces throughout his work. The documentary also features Adam Kamis and Helen Young of the CJSW radio station, which houses one of the oldest and largest physical archives of Calgary music history.
