Augusta Landry

Augusta has wanted to tell stories for a living ever since she was a kid, and something she loves about film is its ability to tell stories that are accessible to a wider audience. Her experience here at SAIT has made her passion for telling stories stronger, and has also added the idea that she wants to work with people who are passionate about what they are making. Augusta aspires to achieve inclusivity in the industry, and goal wise, she would love to have a TV series of her own go to camera. She finds that she gravitates towards more above the line work, such as Directing, Producing, and Writing, but has also found that she also really likes working in the Art Department. After she graduates from SAIT, she will be continuing her education at UofC to complete a Bachelor of Film Studies with a minor in Drama. She also plans on working with those that she’s connected with throughout this program, and ultimately plans on finding work within the industry post-graduation.

Augusta’s favourite movies are Tick, Tick... BOOM! (2021), Eternals (2021), Turning Red (2022), Tangled (2010), and The Perks of Being a Wallflower (2012).
